I have not seen the R-rated theatrical version, but I can only assume that this 14-minute-plus cut is even more outrageous: There lots of foul language, and even laughable blood and guts. Who steals the show with his portrait of a fearless Thespa affected not only trick, but a medical procedure to become African American for his role in the film-in-the-film. But it is Robert Downey Jr. Have you noticed that really funny comedies are a pretty rare commodity these days? That probably the reason that as film Tropic Thunder successful are these events, a cause for celebration. The story of a band completely clueless actors and wannabes, including an action hero d, a rapper, a comic and coarse; stranded in the wilds of Vietnam gives Pedigreed expressed broad comedic fodder, from highbrow to lowbrow.
